How to get more Google reviews the honest way

Most businesses do not have a review problem. They have an asking problem. Your customers walk out happy every day and nobody invites them to say so where it counts.

Ask everyone, at the right moment

The right moment is when the good feeling is still warm. The fresh haircut in the mirror. The empty plate. The boiler firing up again. Ask then, and asking feels like a favour, not a chore.

And ask everyone. Picking out only your happiest customers is called review gating, and Google penalises it. Asking every customer the same way is allowed, encouraged, and it works.

Make it a five second job

Every step you add loses people. Search for us on Google, find the right listing, find the review button: that is three steps too many. A tap card removes all of them. The customer touches their phone to the card and your review page is already open.

Never pay, never fake, never filter

Free coffees for five stars, review swaps with other businesses, bought reviews from strangers: all of it breaks Google's rules and all of it gets caught eventually. The honest way is slower on day one and miles ahead by day ninety, because every review is real and none of them can be taken away from you.

Make it someone's habit

The businesses that win at this do not run campaigns. They hand the card over at the till, every time, the way they hand over the receipt. One sentence is enough: a quick tap here sorts us right out.
